Vimala Raman is an Indian film actress and model and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She has appeared in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She was born and brought up in Sydney. She started practicing Bharatanatyam at the age of five. In 2004 she won the Miss India Australia title as well as the Miss India Australia cyberqueen title.
