The Kerala-born Amala Paul, who now has switched to her original name of Amala from her ‘Anakha’ given to her by Sami (director of Sindhu Samaveli), is quite upbeat about the roles she has on hand thanks to the roaring success of ‘Mynaa’. Following on the footsteps of the many Malayalam actresses who have made it big in Tamil like Oorvasi, Revathi, Asin, Gopika, Bhavana & Meera Jasmine, Amala is only keeping up the tradition, say observers.
